LICENSORS:
. . . written authority granted by the owner of a trademark to another person empowering the latter to make or use the trademark for a limited period of time and/or in a limited territory and/or in a limited manner.
The principals that apply to franchisers apply to licensors.
When the product is manufactured or supplied by another
company whose reputation is not on the line when the product
is sold, it is important that product quality controls be
maintained. Trademark registration and the use of a
Registered User agreement will provide this protection.
